Utility Department WELCOME KEEPING WATER CLEAN & SAFE IT IS EVERYONE'S JOB TO PROTECT WATER FROM UNNECESSARY POLLUTION WATER METERS The Public Service Commission requires the Onalaska Utility to exchange inside water meters approximately every 10 to 20 years. This ensures accurate meter readings and is done at no charge to our utility customers. The Utility Department will place a door hanger at your residence to notify you that your meter needs to be replaced. When you receive this door hanger please call our utility clerk to schedule an appointment. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Thank you for your cooperation.
