Parks & Recreation
The Onalaska Park and Recreation Department has the responsibility of providing for the efficient and effective delivery of recreation and park services throughout the city. The department provides a wide range of services, programs and facilities to strengthen and enhance the quality of life for city residents. These services include programs and events for youth and adults, aquatic programs, park facilities and reservations, and special event programs. The department also serves to facilitate the coordination of services and facilities for the provision of recreational opportunities by other agencies and organizations.
The department oversees use of park and recreation facilities by the public and provides information on the location, availability and cost of renting park facilities.
