The Meeting of the “Special” Common Council was called to order at 7:40 a.m. on Monday, June 18, 2007. It was noted that the meeting had been announced and a notice posted at City Hall.

Roll call was taken, with the following members present: Mayor Jim Bialecki, Ald. Mike Giese, Ald. Tim Miller, Ald. Robert Muth, Ald. Jim Olson, Ald. Kim Smith and Ald. Clarence Stellner.

Also Present: City Clerk Cari Burmaster and Human Resource Specialist Elsa Kulig.

Item 2 – Approval of final compensation agreement for Interim Police Chief.

Mayor Bialecki stated that what was originally approved by the Council would leave Chief Hauser making less that what he would be making if he was a Captain.

Motion by Ald. Stellner, second by Ald. Miller, to approve the annual salaried compensation for Interim Police Chief Hauser in the amount of $88,000 per the terms in the agreement. On voice vote, motion carried.

Motion by Ald. Stellner, second by Ald. Muth to adjourn at 7:43 a.m. On voice vote, motion carried.
