The Onalaska Common Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers.

Most of the other City committees and commissions meet at City Hall but please call (608) 781-9530 to confirm the exact location and room number. Agendas are posted on the bulletin board in City Hall at least 24 hours in advance of the meetings.

Since January 2001, the City of Onalaska took over its own government access cable television channel. The City will televise a message loop that will include meeting notices and times, community events, policies and schedules related to City of Onalaska government, and more. Our approach will be to start simple and continue to develop this channel as a beneficial community resource as we go forward with this project.

The City's government access channel can be seen on Charter Cable Channel 6. You must be a City of Onalaska resident to receive our government access channel as part of your Charter Cable channel line-up. (Note: Some Onalaska residents who subscribe to Charter Cable may not receive the government access channel depending on the cable boundaries.)

In addition to live broadcasts of monthly City Council meetings, we are broadcasting televised meetings including: Planning Commission, Board of Public Works and Finance & Personnel Committee.
